On July 26th, 2008, in front of hundreds of people attending, Jossie Marques Spear was crowded the new Miss Mundo Latina USA in Orlando, FL. The 20 year-old Venezuelan candidate was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela On May 8th, 1988 on what happened to be mother’s day.  She was raised on a small city called Punto Fijo on the State of Falcon, and comes from a big family of brothers, sister and cousins.

Her heritage goes from Portuguese-Venezuelan to American and speaks the three languages. Jossie’s goal in life is to become a Supermodel one day and travel the world developing her career. Her passion for modeling started very early when she graduated from High School in Orlando, she did her first photo shoot for Spear Images and then started working as a Presentation Model for companies like Pureology, Sexy Hair, and Paul Mitchell. She is anxious to start working with the official causes of Miss Mundo Latina USA, which include increasing AIDS awareness through the Until there’s a Cure cause and to represent the Latin beauty around the globe.
